Nova Scotia is one of Canada's provences. A provence is like what we call states but in Canada.The year Nova Scotia's province was created is in 1625,therefore Nova Scotia was a province for a total of three hundred eighty three years,And are verry proud to be independent.The reason why nova Scotia wanted the right to have independance is because they though they were better off on there own. the king of Novia Scotia is King louisXIV the queen's name is Queen Annie.

The fishing and fishing proccesing Industry. It supplied more than 20,000 jobs. The main fish being caught are cod, haddock, pollock, lobsters, scallops and crab. Another large impact on Nova Scotia's Economy is tourism, tourism in Nova Scotia brought in more than 800 million dollars and 30,000 jobs. This means Nova Scotia is a very resource based economy. Nova Scotia's GDP per Capita is $31,344 as of 2005.

Nova Scotias Sports Hall of Fame was made in 1964 to honor the great atheletes of Nova Scotia. This is located in World Trade and Convention Centre(center).
